VISIBLE SIGNS OF GOD'S GRACE


BAPTISM
Infant Baptisms are celebrated quarterly within the context of the Sunday Eucharist during the Mass your family usually attends.

Pre-baptism class is required.  Please call the office for more information: 319-337-4314.


FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
This Sacrament is celebrated annually in the Spring, and the first communicants receive the sacrament at the Mass their family regularly attends.

Preparation classes are required and begin in the Fall.  Please call the office for more information: 319-337-4314.


CONFIRMATION
The reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated annually in the Spring. Youth in grades 9-12 who are registered members of St. Mary's Parish and who freely choose to be confirmed prepare to receive the sacrament as a group

Preparation classes are required and begin in the Fall.  Please call the office for more information: 319-337-4314.


RECONCILIATION
This Sacrament is celebrated every Saturday, 10:00 AM - 11 AM in the church, or by appointment.
Communal Penance Services are also offered during the seasons of Advent and Lent.

HOLY MATRIMONY
Because of the importance of this sacrament of our Church, couples will participate in a marriage preparation program.

Please call the office at least 6 months in advance of your proposed wedding date: 319-337-4314


ANOINTING OF THE SICK
This Sacrament is celebrated communally at each Mass on a selected weekend during the month of October.
It is also celebrated by appointment for those who are hospitalized or homebound.
